The rules, with live numbers
Land pays.
Here is how.
Turf is a live land-grab game. The creator fees of the coin fill one pool. Take land, cash it out, and you are paid for its size. No wallet connect, no deposit: you play as a guest or with an account, and what you win is sent to the address you paste.

The game
01- One map for everybodyA board of 16,384 cells. You start on a small patch next to the other players. You steer and you never stop.
- Take landLeave your land, draw a loop, come back onto it. The loop and everything inside it becomes yours, whoever held it before.
- CutOff your land you leave a trail. A player who runs into your trail puts you out and all of your land is theirs. Run into theirs and it is the other way round.
- Other ways outThe wall, your own trail, or a head-on off your land put you out with nobody taking your land. Lose your last cell and you are out too. Out means you leave with nothing: only land you cash out pays.
The money
02- The poolCreator fees of the coin are claimed about once a minute. 2% of every claim buys the coin and burns it; everything else goes into the pool. The pool is all there is to win, and all of it is for the players. Before the coin is live the game runs as a practice round: same numbers on paper, nothing is sent.
- The potCash-outs are paid from the pot. The rest of the pool waits in the reserve and flows into the pot at –% of itself per hour; the pot never holds more than –% of the pool. So a rush of cash-outs can empty the pot but never the pool: each one is smaller until the pot has filled up again. That is how one pool works for ten players or two hundred.
- What land is worthA cash-out takes a share of the pot that depends on how much of the map you hold at that moment. –% of the map or more takes –% of the pot. Less land takes less, and it falls faster than the land: one big area pays more than several small ones.
- The maxNobody takes more than –% of the pot with one cash-out, whatever they hold, even the whole map. That is ◎– right now.
- Cashing outStand on your own land, trail closed, and hold for 10 seconds. You are paid for the land you hold when the hold ends, 0.002 SOL or more, sent to your Solana address. Then your run is over: your land is free again and you start from a fresh patch.
- Guest or accountYou can play as a guest: a name and an address, nothing else. An account (a name and a password) keeps your name, your address and your record on any device.
- House playersWhen the map is quiet, house players keep it busy. They play by the same rules, hold land like anybody, and never cash out. Cut them and their land is yours.
- The burn2% of every creator-fee claim is set aside. Each time 0.005 SOL has gathered, it buys TURF on the market and burns exactly the coins that buy brought in. So far 0 TURF have been burned, bought with ◎0; ◎0 is waiting for the next burn. Every burn is in the ledger below with its transaction.
